As with all Amptech Systems vintage equipment
restorations, this chassis was restored to operating condition using the
corresponding Howard W. Sams Photofact service literature for this model and
maintaining the internal circuitry exactly as shown in the manual.
Operation of the chassis outside the set's cabinet was accomplished with a
5" test picture tube. I've seen other technicians support the original
10BP4 tube on a roll of duct tape, but I prefer to use a smaller, lighter
tube that does not require additional support.
